The first acting class involved working in pairs, modelling one another into recognisable poses and stances.
In the second class we looked at social status by randomly assigning ourselves with a playing card indicating our position on the social scale. We were directed to treat others according to their position on the scale, with which we based the guess of our own position.
Then in pairs we were given a scenario to act out based on opposing ends of the social scale. In the scene above, Heidi played a mother attempting to keep her son (myself) from leaving the house.
