Character Design + Ideas #2

I have toyed with the idea of having an enchanted wheelbarrow since the beginning of the project, which would act as the apprentice of the salesman whose charisma and charm (possibly hypnosis) allow him to sell sand to a beach-living community. The wheelbarrow is treated poorly and constantly attempts to return the sand to shore.

I think this is an interesting idea, but having put research and development into my former idea, I feel that this concept would be the more predictable option.
