My storyboard, based on the concept art developed from thumbnail ideas, represents the major key frames of my animatic. We circle the book at different angles as it is brought to life when the setting sun shines onto it, watching the pages turn and seeing the mechanisms control development and the release of spores. The spores are represented as letters in the air, which then gather and twist as the pages turn and they are introduced to another part of the cycle. When fertilisation is complete, the sunlight has finally left the room and the book closes. The animatic will be backed by a piece of music I have created, with text justifying the names and transitions.
